Experience the captivating allure of Loveletting, a haunting new series that will leave readers entranced. Step into the darkly romantic and wickedly twisted world created by a passionate new voice in literature.

In the rugged Victorian west of the late 19th century, a world filled with moral conflicts and complex characters unfolds. At its core is Charlotte, a young woman who, after escaping the murder of her mother, finds herself alone and vulnerable. With only her loyal horse as a companion, she faces the harsh reality of a world far from the safety she once knew.

But the darkness never lets her go. As the notorious serial killer of the nation, a man with a deep and troubled past, crosses paths with Charlotte, their meeting sets in motion a series of events both thrilling and horrifying. The dangers that lie ahead are more than either of them can fathom – from ruthless gangs to enigmatic cults, and an insidious horror that lurks in the shadows.

The Loveletting series is deliciously genre-bending, forged by a gothic essence, infused with psychological horror that pushes the boundaries of convention, and meticulously built in a historical setting with fantasy and magical realism elements. This is not your typical genre book; it is a work of literary fiction that delves deep into the human psyche and examines the conflicting nature of humanity.

At its heart lies a haunting love story, one that will permeate your very soul. Prepare to embark on a dark adventure that will leave you with an existential dread, a feeling that will stay with you long after you turn the final page. Every character, woven intricately into the fabric of the story, undergoes a profound transformation, making this world come alive and ensnare you within its grasp.

Starting with the first installment, Haunt, you will find it is a challenging and thought-provoking novel, not meant for the faint of heart. It caters to an adult audience with its heavy and intense content. If you seek an immersive reading experience that defies expectations and introduces you to a world of unpredictable twists, this is the book for you.

Dare to immerse yourself in Loveletting – a gripping tale that will captivate your mind, pierce your heart, and forever linger in your thoughts. But be warned: this is no ordinary journey. Brace yourself for a riveting narrative that begs to be read and understood, while leaving you yearning for more.

Currently, Christina is working on writing the 20th book of the series, so be aware, Haunt’s ending is not one to discourage you from reading the rest of the series. The abundance of surprises, twists, and turns, and carefully thought-out plot, is worth the slow-building journey.

A SERIES FOR THOSE THAT:

  • Appreciate big chunky tomes, focused on a plot driven by a myriad of interesting and meticulously fleshed out characters. Diverse, vile, delicate, vigorous, and raw.

  • Don’t mind a story written in third person, or in a lyrical prose style, with easter eggs spread throughout the books to be unveiled much later. Don’t mind the nature of sensual intimacy, described in tasteful detail—and not generic, but greatly dependent on the nature and chemistry of each character.

  • Seek out a unique journey, not limited by a list of popular tropes, but which dares to explore even the most dreadful ones. These books will dissect them, build upon them, and hopefully obliterate all detestation.

  • Yearn to discover the effects of trauma, ptsd, and also mental disorders that are not often spoken about. Physical disabilities are carefully and respectfully included after tireless research and conversation with the affected, and the challenges that come with them, as well.

  • Are intrigued to dive into science, religion, the vague history of mankind, and the philosophies surrounding it all, with the intention to form their own opinion, or at least, spark a contradictory thought.

  • Not limiting themselves to one genre, for this world expands to Historical Fantasy, Gothic Romance, Psychological Horror, Literary Fiction, Western, and so many more, with the only dictum being the world, set in the 19th Century Victorian West.

  • It is for those that hunger to grow with characters for a long period of time, and once the last page has been read, they are left with endless opportunities to re-read each book, and unearth all secrets, where characters have long interweaved, and subliminal messages have been deftly placed beneath their footfalls.

  • "A sumptuous epic of dark romance...Haunt both challenges and rewards in its uncompromising ambition, its lyric prose and surging emotions, its slowly teased secrets, wrenching violence...too original to settle into any genre, as Maraziotis spices the tale with adventure, romance, tragedy, and even horror...the epic scope, darkness, and refusal to stick to familiar beats will please readers who relish immersive, provocative romance-tinged storytelling"

    — BookLife by Publisher's Weekly

  • "The writing in this novel is eye-catching [with] brilliant literary elements that add to the haunting and intricate storyline...nothing less than a page-turner, and readers will most definitely feel themselves eagerly turning the page to see what will happen next—good or bad. Haunt is truly a thrilling western story with characters readers will yearn for, feel for, and never forget."

    ★★★★★ — Literary Titan

  • "[Maraziotis] masterfully establishes her voice immediately on page one [of] the incredible journey that unfolds across the pages of this epic tale...one that resonated with me was when she described Charlotte's feeling toward character Will: '...Will's was the tourniquet around her wounded soul. A fine layer of cloth covering it softly with the most tender fabric ever created, and yet, it was feeble enough to blow away...' I am haunted with the memory that lives on having read this historical and monumental saga. I look forward to the next book in this series!"

    — Diane Lunsford for Feathered Quill Book Reviews

  • "There's a lot to love here. The characters are all insightfully portrayed; the writing is darkly lyrical and tonally perfect; the emotional intensity is palpable, and even the novel's massiveness doesn't detract as the story is tight and momentum brisk throughout. The sex scenes are also noteworthy: masterfully written to convey complex emotional intensity as well as erotic lust."

    — BlueInk Review

  • "A sweeping, slow-burn gothic romance set on the American Frontier. The play on genres is dynamic, building an interesting and unique atmosphere that's filled with action and romance but is not for the faint of heart. The bones of Haunt are strong..."

    — Joelene Pynnonen for Independent Book Review

  • "There are many genres offering their considerable influence on this intriguing and engrossing novel, and author Christina Maraziotis takes the best of them all...a testament to Maraziotis's compelling gift for character and plot."

    ★★★★★ — K.C. Finn for Readers' Favorite

  • "There are no cheap thrills here and that, along with pacing that glides evenly like the rivers, is what makes the novel so engrossing. The romance is delicious and made even more impressive by the sizzle [which] can be downright cinematic. The grit extends to some surprises and two specifically that bowled me over, leaving me wanting book two in the Loveletting series. Very highly recommended."

★★★★★ — Jamie Michele for Readers' Favorite

  • "The slow burn pace is balanced by a tension that weaves through each scene...the ending is intense and dangles on a cliffhanger, and I look forward to seeing what Maraziotis has in store for us next."

★★★★★ — Asher Syed for Readers' Favorite

  • "Maraziotis is a brilliant storyteller...she skillfully mixes captivating romantic longing and sexual tension [with] malevolent twists that send shivers down your spine. This historical romance and horror blend is an absolute page-turner!"

★★★★★ — Foluso Falaye for Readers' Favorite

  • "A haunting, sinister, unexpected, and highly addictive story...a mesmerizing world filled with complex and morally grey characters living in a brutal environment that constantly challenges their flawed human nature and ability to survive. Haunt has the right amount of adventure, tragedy, angst, suspense, love, and peril to please even the most fastidious reader. It's one of the best gothic romances with undertones of psychological horror I've read in years."
